i'm glad this isn't phrased as favourite movies, because people ask that all the time, and there are just too many good movies out there for me to honestly have a favourite.
1. Star Wars trilogy (OT!!!) it's three; sue me.
2. Indiana Jones trilogy. also three, because if you're going to sue me i may as well make it worth my while.
3. The Breakfast Club
4. Donnie Darko "chut up! -- go back to China bitch!" (for rodney cuz nobody else will say it ^_^)
5. Dogma
6. The Princess Bride
7. Labyrinth
8. Wait Until Dark - alan arkin rules.
9. Pirates of the Caribbean (duh.)
10. Pride and Prejudice (technically a mini-series, but still ...)

2. 8. anything you could think of having to do with a Sci-Fi/Fantasy con: Star Trek, Star Wars, Hercules, Forever Knight, Xena, LEXX, LotR (but not Buffy or Angel or Charmed--those would be my dad's obsessions :-P and not Babylon 5. just no.) ... but yes, signal mocking laughter ... now!

1. noise -- yay for more being vague like that
2. (not really a psychological bother, but rather a physical one) smoke -- it gives me a headache and makes me feel sick
3. televangelism
4. bugs in my room ... or just near me (yes, electronic or insect sort)
5. poor use of grammar and punctuation in necessary circumstances
6. my tendency to procrastinate
7. guns ... ? ... yes, just the fact that they exist.
8. people chewing with their mouths open (unless it's Johnny Depp in Secret Window, because everything he does is beautiful -- same in regards to his smoking)
